Located in El Hato Village in Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, it features a mixed forest within the Lower Montane Wet Forest Tropical Life Zone.
Currently, at least 21 bird species have been reported, as well as several tree species of great importance, such as aguacatillo, amate, cedro, palo blanco, ilamo, among others.
