An excellent experience! As a whole, a top tier restaurant. Really interesting and creative food options we wanted to try it all. The service was impeccable. Mario and the team truly made us feel welcome and at home. The building itself is beautiful and lived up to the name as we spent our evening yapping and playing cards until close. The owner is a character and we really enjoyed chatting to him, he even went above and beyond to help us retrieve a lost card on the roof. This was absolutely a memorable experience and would recommend to any diner looking to explore a different take on Italian cuisine and also enjoy an evening of sombresa.

An incredible place to have a wonderful dinner or any meal. The location is amazing in the heart of Antigua with beautiful views of the mountains and city on the rooftop terrace. Then theres the food it might be the best meal Ive had in my over two week stay in Guatemala!

Food was absolutely delicious. They were kind enough to give me a small container of their “hot sauce” to go that I call liquid gold. It’s currently in my luggage traveling back to Los Angeles! Not to be missed. I wish I can buy an entire jar!

I have been a fan and frequent diner at Sobremesa for over 13 years. I also recommend to my family, friends and my travel groups. I highly recommend with pride knowing not only will my people enjoy the highest quality of food, drinks and desert, they will remember Alex Ferrar forever! Sobremesa is more than a restaurant, it’s an experience.
