I came to this place to taste traditional Guatemalan food, and it was recommended by the hotel reception where I was staying.
As always, in the places I’ve visited in Guatemala, the service was impeccable—very kind and attentive.
Regarding the food, it was a 50/50 experience. My three-meat pepián was good—the stew was very tasty—but it wasn’t spectacular because the meat was tough and tasted old. The chicken and pork were fine.
As for my partner’s meal, they ordered barbecue pork ribs, which were inedible. The pork was extremely tough, as if it had been in a freezer for too long—just like what happened with the meat in my pepián. I recommend carefully reviewing your production processes because the flavor is good, but the final product is not.
The ambiance is cute.
I hope you can improve.
