Chermol is a small eatery alongside a number of other food vendors, all situated within a large garden compound. At night with the lights strung up, the location is quite beautiful. There is a main covered area with live music, a fire pit and shelter from rain. Other tables and chairs are dotted around the grounds. The atmosphere is lovely.

The Chermol menu offers a variety of regional dishes. I ordered the 4 empanada set which was delicious.

There is a playground for kids and beer options for adults. I’d love to come back again!

This place is like Narnia. The unassuming doors lead you into the phenomenal garden where you will have the best empanadas on earth. The shrimp is particularly fantastic, followed by the chorizo. So good I came back the very next day for breakfast. Cannot recommend this gem enough

Hidden gem in the middle of a park in antigua.

Great service , great beers (recommend the seasonal hazy IPA & ojalá) and tasty empanadas.

The pizzas looked great too, but didn’t try.

Functions as an open air patio / take away. I sat in the Antigua Cerveza area but was offered their menu. Had Carpaccio de Pulpo with little baguette slices. Was delicious. I think the baguette might have been better toasted do it has more texture when sopping up the oil and vinegar sauce from the octopus, but was delicious regardless! Location was deep in the park, but the location pin shows the entrance.
