We both ordered pasta (I ordered gluten free amatriciana). My pasta was so overcooked it was falling apart. The sauce was basically pasta water with chopped (not that soft or seasoned) tomatoes, some stringy mozzarella and some thick overcooked bacon. My husbands truffle pasta was a bit odd as it had red pepper in it and didn't taste truffle. Maybe our own fault for ordering pasta in Guatemala and they did take off the price of my pasta but felt I still needed to leave the review because 4.6 rating is far too high for this restaurant especially given prices are also on average higher than elsewhere.

En voyage organisé nous avons fait une pause dîner dans ce restaurant. Personnellement je n'ai pas aimé le plat trop simple et peu goûteux. Le poisson était fade, ainsi que les légumes. Par contre la purée rouge était très original et goûtue.

In December 2024, we ordered 10 oz. of tenderloin medallions, relatively small round slices of beef from a fillet, with Roquefort blue cheese, 3 peppers, jacked potato and vegetables (GTQ169). The medallions were tender and tasted very good. Very enjoyable dish. Service was attentive and friendly, although the wait during peak hours was longer than expected. Reservations might be useful.

Restaurante Las Antorchas is known for its refined cuisine, charming ambiance and professional service, making it a popular dining destination in Antigua. Highly recommended.

Puedo decir que he estado cuatro días comiendo allí por la calidad de su materia prima, su servicio, el lugar tan acogedor y bonito y por su puesto por los sabores de sus carnes, ensaladas, postres…. Buffff unas mezclas y texturas en boca flipantes. La carne jugosa, tierna y con sabor brutal en sus salsas y sin ellas. Exageradamente bueno. El chef de 10 y con el detalle de salir a saludar a los comensales. Un 10. Si vuelvo a Antigua este es mi lugar. Gracias por esas comidas tan sabrosas.
