In this module, we will focus on expanding your vocabulary and introducing you to useful phrases that will help you in common situations you may encounter while traveling or living in Spanish-speaking environments. We’ll cover greetings, shopping, dining, and other essentials.

Lesson 1: Greetings & Introductions

Greetings and Basic Phrases:

  • Hello – Hola (OH-lah)
  • Good morning – Buenos días (BWEH-nohs DEE-ahs)
  • Good afternoon – Buenas tardes (BWEH-nahs TAR-dehs)
  • Good evening – Buenas noches (BWEH-nahs NOH-chehs)

Comer – to eat

Vivir – To live
