“It’s a very peaceful setting as it’s slightly removed from the main area of San Juan la Laguna—but an easy walk or mototaxi ride to the center. There is also a private dock where the lanchas can drop you off or pick you up, upon request. I loved lounging in the hammocks on the balconies outside of the rooms, and taking the kayaks out for a morning paddle. The breakfast was good. In my experience, it is served buffet-style on busy mornings, and is made to order on quieter ones. The restaurant was a relaxing place to come at night too—but there is limited food selection if you don’t let them know ahead of time that you will be eating lunch or dinner there. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!” –Jenna Gustafson
