I had a wonderful experience at this hostel. It was very clean, and the staff was absolutely amazing—super friendly and incredibly helpful. One thing to note is that the dorms and bathrooms are co-ed, so it’s important to be comfortable with that setup.
The common areas were great, with plenty of shared seating both inside and on the rooftop. It was a nice option when you wanted a break from the bedroom space or just wanted to relax and socialize.
Even after I checked out, the staff went above and beyond to assist me with arranging transportation throughout Guatemala. They even managed to find me a private ride on New Year’s Eve when most companies weren’t operating, which I really appreciated.
If you’re okay with a shared, co-ed environment, I would definitely recommend this hostel. The cleanliness and the supportive, helpful staff made it a great place to stay.
