Really cool exhibition when I was there, very interactive and immersive. Also the lady at the front desk was able to speak to me about the project in English (which was helpful) and gave me a handout in English m.

This place will have various installations when you come but well worth the visit. My wife gotba chance to participate in one of the exhibits definitely stopnat the 2 park buses for lunch.

This was such a pleasant surprise a little off the beaten path. The exhibits are well planned and installed, giving each piece ample space and lighting. It’s not large and won’t take long to see. Would have tried the very cool looking cafe made of two merged together chicken buses if I hadn’t just eaten. Anyway, worth going to see.

Absolutely OBSESSED with this contemporary art museum! The space itself it’s huge and open, and the artwork inside is some of the best I’ve seen in all of Latin America. The Guatemalan identity of each artist comes through as strongly through the art as it does when you travel around the country. The museum is a great mix of sculpture, painting, drawing, and photography. The permanent photography exhibit is extremely high level and better than many collections I’ve seen in the US. I had the pleasure of meeting the founder, Jamie, who is extremely nice and knowledgeable about all of the work. Her warmth and in depth knowledge and appreciation of the art made our visit here even better!

Fabulous! Went for the Bienal de Arte Paiz. La Nueva Fábrica is a project of New Roots Foundation and features Lissie Habie's works, as well as that of other wonderful artists. Le Comedor has a pop up there now and soon will be a permanent fixture. Great pairing--awesome art, awesome food!
