The Foundation for Fine Arts and Culture FUNBA is an institution located in the colonial city of Antigua and in Guatemala City. It is dedicated to strengthening the national identity through rescuing, protecting, conserving, investigating, disseminating, and promoting art in Guatemala.
The FUNBA collection, spanning Pre-Hispanic to Contemporary periods, resides in an Antigua-based house museum with 4,000+ pieces. Established in 1993, FUNBA fosters arts, culture, and heritage in Guatemala through exhibitions, performances, and education. Collaborating locally, it enriches culture and supports artists with scholarships. Guided visits can be arranged via email or social media.
Please note that many of the entrance fees for landmarks, parks, and museums are subsidized by the government for Guatemalan citizens. You may notice a price difference for foreigners.
