I originally planned on staying out drinking until my very early morning flight out. Got tired and “splurged” for a private room to close my eyes for a few hours. On the dirty side, room is infested with ants, smells funky, and its super loud on the ground floor.
I didn’t even risk showering or getting under the sheets, I slept in my clothes.. If all you want is shelter and a bed to sleep on for $35-40/ night, go for it if the above doesn’t turn you away. A shame because this place could work if management cared more.

The hotel room was quaint but there was no AC or fan. We had to request to be moved since the kids were complaining. Quickly the young man at the front desk assisted and found additional rooms that had fans and was able to move us. We only spent 1 night as the thunderstorm grounded our travel back to the house in San Juan Sacatepeques.

Noise! Noise! Noise!
This hotel is next to a grocery market and their roof workshop is really loud at night.
There were many people talking on the roof Terrance and nobody take control.
My room has no hot water by the way.

every room they showed us had a huge mold issue!!! Whole walls been just covered in mold, absolutely dangerous and disgusting to sleep in. After our request at the reception that we need to change rooms for our health safety, they didn’t try much to help us… after our third attempt they showed us other rooms in the same pricecategory, all even worse then ours, except for one free room without mold, but because it was more expensive they said, they can’t give us the room and we had to sleep in our moldy room.
Such and unfriendly, health risky and unhygienic stay!
Can’t recommend this place!!!!
