I had a great time visiting Altamira for a day trip. They had great views, photo ops and the restaurant had delicious meals for affordable prices. Definitely recommend!

Altamira is very cool so take a jacket or sweater.
I would recommend wearing climbing shoes as you can slip or slide whem walking.

Entrance to Altamira is $25 Quetzales and if you would like to do bike zipline you pay $75 Quetzal
In total with the food and fun activity $100 usd per person can come along way.
They do not allow for you to bring your own food so buying is the only option.

I would suggest going with anticipation as it can get very crowded and taking pictures can become a hassel.

Please note that there are several bathrooms along the route that you can use, Just be on the look out for the signs.

Take water as you can get dehydrated and a sweet just incase if you might need it.

This place is phenomenal!!! I had a blast and highly recommend it over Hobbitenango. There's so much to do and really cool photo opps. I got the promo for 50Q with Selfie Museo and had so much fun. I also cannot recommend enough Cablebiking (video addition was so cool!!). Best day ever!!

Hermosas vistas, aire puro.

Worth it especially during the week. It’s a bit of a hike but so much fun and the views are spectacular
