“We only tried the pastor tacos and chalupas. Pastor was well prepared and flavorful – on the well done side which was to our liking. Guac sauce was smooth and mild. Pineapple and tamarindo sauces were only slightly spicy and mostly sweet – as you would expect from pineapple and tamarindo. The tamarindo also had a smoky flavor. The spicy green sauce was spicy, but not so spicy that you can’t bathe a taco in it. I enjoyed the guacamole, tamarindo, and spicy green combo of sauces. Sauces came right out of the fridge and were nice and cold – a great compliment to the freshly served and hot tacos. Michelada was Mexican style with plenty of jugo and Tajín on the rim of a large square glass. Excellent Mexican michelada. Service was warm, friendly, and prompt. Similiar to El Pinche, but I liked Mariachis better.” -Downtown Dad
