Casa para las Artes (House for the Arts) is a cultural center located in Antigua Guatemala. It was founded in 2009 by a group of artists with the mission of promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of Antigua through various forms of art such as music, dance, theater, and visual arts.
Casa para las Artes serves as a space for artists to come together and share their work with the local community through exhibitions, workshops, and performances. The center offers a variety of classes and workshops in different disciplines, including painting, drawing, photography, music, and dance.
One of the main objectives of Casa para las Artes is to support the local artistic community by providing them with a space to showcase their work, network with other artists, and develop their skills. Additionally, the center organizes various cultural events and festivals throughout the year, including the Antigua International Guitar Festival, which attracts renowned guitarists from around the world.
