Overview:

This workshop offers the opportunity to mold, design and decorate your own ceramic piece guided by a master craftsman who will show the complete process to work the clay and transform it into traditional crafts from the area.

What to Expect:

Pottery was used by the Mayas in all areas of their life, both social and spiritual. The artisans are the ones who have kept this tradition alive throughout history, which has evolved into an artistic technique while preserving its connection with the past.

Expect the elaboration of a souvenir in clay in the traditional local way in a workshop in the city of Jocotenango a 5 min drive away from the city enter of Antigua.

You can book from Monday to Sunday from 8 A.M. to 5 PM.

Our hours are flexible.

The tour can be taken individually or in a group.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
