Café Sol

Café Sol Callejón del Sol #11 Antigua, Guatemala

A specialty coffee shop with an honest ethical kitchen and a menu to pair harmoniously with the coffee beans they carefully select. This coffee shop wants to break the stereotype that coffee shops aren’t made to eat proper nutritious meals and that in certain restaurants you can’t find excellent coffee.

Lovely little place for good coffee or lunch. We had the croque monsieur combo with a salad and limonada. Nice little roof terrace. Cards accepted and reasonable prices.” -Alex Callahan

“A gem of a spot! I got the $60Q combo of avo toast, potatoes and an iced latte which was all delicious. Great little rooftop, will be back again!” -Lisa Rosenblum

Tastiest breakfast I’ve had in months. Best sourdough bread I’ve had in years. Very good Chai, made from a spice mix and not an overly sweet syrup. Haven’t tried the coffee, but it seems like it would be excellent, judging by the quality of everything else, and by watching the way they take care in the process of brewing it. If you’re a “third wave” coffee kind of person, this seems like a destination for you.” -Kimball Stone
